Beach life

Fridays are such a fun day for us.  We usually spent it with our 'mommy-friends' going to different places.  Today we went to Nahant Beach in Lynn, MA.  It's about 45 minutes from our house and cost $3.00 to park or you could sneak in the restaurant parking and not pay a cent.

Fam Bam & Visitors

My family from Florida had a three week road trip.  Their first destination was South Carolina then Toronto, New York State.  On their way home they stopped to visit us then again heading back to SC and finally back to FL.  Phew!
We walked and walked for days on average 6-7 hours at a time.  My legs were exhausted but of course enjoyed every day we spent together.  I am pretty close to my aunt and uncle.

How fast is your summer flying?  Summer has been quite busy for us, visitors, weekend road trips.  This month we have three set of visitors, with one family being there first time.  I do not mean to sound like I am not complaining, it has been an extremely hot humid summer.  In some ways  I look forward to the fall however Eastern US is known for it's muggy weather all-year-round.

Today we had a happy Friday.  We went to Kimball Farm in Westford, MA.  Thanks to my husband's company, they have a few summer family days, which happen to be on Friday's (yah long weekend).  It's great that his company considers making special times for their employee's families.
