The K Family and their dog

I met up with this lovely young family in Medford just a few weeks before the Christmas holidays.  We started off  in their home later finishing outside who I might add their sweet daughter Miss A (super smiley 7 month old) and her parents braved the chilly outdoors to finish off our session.  Their family dog Madigan, whose name I happen to love also join in on the fun!

Some of my favorites from our session!

Loving this family portrait!

She's photogenic alright...

This has got to be my fav...her eyes, her tiny fingers, awwww...

Okay love this one too...

I think Little Miss A has dimples

One more before we head outside.

Thank you K Family for a fab session :)

My beautiful sisters and mom

Boy oh boy I decided last minute I would drive back home, spent exactly 48 hours, pick up my little sister for her birthday and bring her back to Boston for the holidays.  Let's just say my bottom and back were not happy near the 8th hour of my 10 hour drive.  I don't think I'll do that commute until this summer when we make it a two week road trip, this way my husband and I can help split the drive.

We had a very special Christmas, my cousin from London, UK, visited Boston for the first time.  My family joined in on the festivities Christmas Eve.  In my previous posting, I mentioned we had a seafood dinner, indeed we did, it was yummy!

Here are some of my favorites from of my sisters during my very short visit.  I was also able to squeeze in a few photo session which included catching up with a childhood friend and a family with their extended families...stay tuned.

Meet Miss J.  Many people say we look and sound alike.

Our baby sister, I say this because she is 18 years younger than me.

In our family, we like to have fun and be silly...

Lastly, I thought I would throw this collage in...my mother and us (her three daughters)

Christmas PJs, red coats & lollipops

I was so happy when M & A's mother contacted me and wanted to do pictures of her girls in their Christmas PJs...oh what fun it was.  Both mom and dad worked so hard making them giggle for their photographs and they do not disappoint!  And I must say parents do a lot of work behind the scenes, trying to get their children(s) to smiles/laugh soooo thank you for your hard work, without them I'm sure rattles and my silly joke "is there are bird on my head" can work only so much!

We finished our session outdoors at Beaver Brook Reservation in Belmont.  This past fall, we had our family photos taken here too and it's just a lovely park with creeks running through.  It is also a popular park for dogs so I don't blame their dad was super cautious about stepping in dog doo-doo but I had so much fun with your entire family!  Thank you, thank you!

Here are some of my favorites from our session!

How adorable are these two sisters?

Of course one of many favorites....

Don't you love their matching red coats?

Love love love!!!

O Family

Now that the holidays are over, it's time for me to catch up on the blog!  December was a very busy month for photo sessions, especially for holiday cards.

Now on this beautiful family!  We started off in their beautiful home that was festively decorated  and ended our session at McLennan Park.  Weather was overcast, bit wet and we managed to have a super fun photo session! Thank you for asking me to take your family photos :)

I love this photo of the girls including mom looking at dad...

M and E like to have fun too!

Giggles are good for the {heart}

I have been seeing these collage ideas and of course I was dying to do one...turned out better than anticipated!

Jenny & her mom :: Fall Model Photo shoot

I met Jenny in 2010 when we worked together at Copley Place in Boston.  First impressions, she was sweet, kind, fun and overall I could tell a very good person with a good heart!  So I knew she grew up in a loving family with loving parents, how generous was it of Jenny, who works full-time to use her personal time for helping me build my portfolio.   She also brought along her beautiful mom, who's awesome.  I couldn't have asked for more, they were naturals in front of the camera and were really just enjoying "mother-daughter" so sweet.  Thank you so much for being my models and I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I love taking them of both of you.

"The love between a mother and her daughter is special. A mother takes her daughter under her wing and teaches her how to be a woman. In order to do this, you have to ask yourself what it means to be a woman of today. How do you balance care for others with your own quest for meaning and joy in life and how do you pass on these lessons to your daughter?"

Lee, Brooks & Lila :: Fall Session

So sad my fall family sessions are coming to an end for 2012.  I had the pleasure of meeting so many new families, truly an honor to work with everyone and thank you so much.

Meet the "W" family.  We started our photo shoot in my studio and headed outdoors-it must have been mid-70's, so nice out November in New England.  Lila, who is 7 months and very mobile.  Her mother wanted to capture pictures of her christening gown before she can no longer fit in-good idea!  Super adorable girl, look at her BIG beautiful eyes.  Hint-how awesome is her 'pink' bible?
Seriously, how adorable is Lila?  She makes me want to have another one already, especially a little girl.
This has got to be my most favourite!

Her big brother Brooks!

What a good looking family!

{LOVE} this one too!  Thank you so much for a lovely day!
