K & J {Expecting}- Menotomy Rocks Park

I meet this lovely couple at one of Mommybites events where I was photographing beautiful bumps.  They are expecting their first baby girl sometime this month.  They wanted a session with some edgy shots, which I thought were cool.  The weather that day was sooo sticky and they both bared it all well (including myself).

Here is a sneak of their session.  Congratulations!

Maternity Love:: Michelle, her mom and sister

I was happy and excited when Michelle contact me about her pregnancy, expecting her first bundle in July.  We use to work together when we were in our late teens, oh yeah, sometime 13 years ago!  The last time we bumped into each other when my friend got married in 2010.  It's crazy how much time has past and how we have all grown and are having children.  Michelle and Ryan have decided to keep the sex of the baby until the day of birth.  It amazes me that couples can keep that suspense, for sure next time I THINK I might want to keep it a surprise!

Congratulations hon, so happy for this new chapter in your life!  You look stunning! And perfect photo location!
I loved that she brought her mother, sister and her precious dog, Farley (in later pictures)

So sweet, laughter between the girls!
                                                               LOVE this ONE!!! Sigh...

I love the lighting, shot at 6/6:30pm.

B Family Session plus Belly!

This year has been a busy one for bellies!  It contagious, I am getting very close to thinking about having a sibling for my son.

Kate contacted me in the beginning of April for her outdoor family/maternity session.  I could tell instantly after speaking to her on the phone, she was someone special, truly wonderful person I have got to know in just 15 minutes.  Our session was rained not only once but twice.  After we spoke, we would ring each other and ask if we should wing it with the sprinkles.  I am glad we did not.  We finally got our day on Mother's Day.  The lighting was beautiful in Menotomy Rocks.

Their adorable calm yet shy daughter warmed up to the camera just after a few minutes.  She reminded me so much of my son, very observant to people around them, quiet, patient and very gentle.

We had a great session!  I am happy that my son and I have a new friend.  I can't wait to meet your baby boy (who just arrived!)  Stay tune.

Thank you so much for asking to take your photos:)
One of my favourite pictures of Big Sister O and baby brother!
In LOVE with this photo, especially of Dad :)
Being photographed is hard work!  How about some play time?

You may remember my cousin got married last fall at the Boiler House in Toronto, Canada.  Not long after their honeymoon in the Thailand, we found out their exciting news...they were expecting!  I literally could see it when she posted pictures here and their during her honeymoon on Facebook and she definitely had the "glow".  I am super excited to meet this little one, coming this July!  Congratulations to you and your hubby.  Can't wait to meet her, that's right, she's having a girl.  XO

Expecting:: Gorgeous M Family

I LOVE baby bumps!  It's such an exciting time for everyone in the family, including extended families.  As soon as Elena walk out of her car, I couldn't help notice how stunning she was especially at 37 weeks.  Along her side was "soon-to-be" big brother and her husband.  She wanted to get some blooms and blooms have a small window before the wind blows them away.  I figure instead of trekking downtown to Boston Common (especially what happened at the Boston Marathon) I though Mount Auburn Cemetery would be great.  We use to live a 5 minute walk from there.  Of course in my culture there are superstition and I wanted to make she it was okay, which Elena was.  Her pictures and scenery couldn't of been perfect!   Can't wait to meet your new little person!
